Where this information comes from.

The peptides covered on this site fall into two regulatory categories. The right verification path depends on which one you're looking at.

  • FDA-approved medications

    Has a label

Semaglutide, tirzepatide, and liraglutide — and the brand names they're sold under (Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, Zepbound®, Saxenda®, Victoza®) — are FDA-approved prescription drugs with official prescribing information. The dose ranges shown for these compounds on this site are summarized from those approved labels.

The authoritative source is the FDA-approved label.

  • Research peptides

    Investigational

BPC-157, TB-500, ipamorelin, CJC-1295, retatrutide, epithalon, MOTS-c, AOD-9604 and most other peptides on this site are research compounds. They are not FDA-approved for human use. Dose ranges shown are summarized from peer-reviewed clinical and pre-clinical literature, where evidence is often preliminary.

The authoritative source is the published research literature.

Regulatory background

Background on how peptides are regulated and why a prescribing provider is required for compounded protocols.

How we curate the data

Vial sizes, dose ranges, and protocol templates on this site are derived from:

  • FDA-approved prescribing information for the regulated compounds
  • Peer-reviewed clinical and pre-clinical research, indexed on PubMed
  • Active and completed clinical trials registered at ClinicalTrials.gov
  • Manufacturer-published reconstitution and storage guidance where applicable

We do not generate dose recommendations. Every range shown is bounded by published evidence, and every value is paired with a disclaimer that it is not personalized medical advice.

What to verify before any dose

  1. 1Read the vial label and confirm the compound, concentration, and lot number.
  2. 2Recompute the math (vial mg ÷ BAC ml = mg/ml; dose mg ÷ mg/ml × syringe units/ml = units).
  3. 3Confirm units. The most dangerous error in peptide dosing is treating mcg as mg (1000× off).
  4. 4Cross-reference with your prescribing provider's instructions.
  5. 5Check storage: most reconstituted peptides need refrigeration at 36–46°F (2–8°C) and have a 28-day window.

When to call your doctor

This site is an information and tracking tool. A licensed healthcare provider is the only person who can make a dosing decision for you. Always involve them:

  • Before starting any peptide protocol
  • Before changing the dose, schedule, or compound
  • If you experience severe nausea, abdominal pain, or other concerning side effects
  • If a calculation looks wrong or doesn't match your prior doses
  • If you are pregnant, nursing, or being treated for a related condition
